Total Eclipse & Greenland

The Arctic expedition begins in Iceland's bustling city before reaching Greenland's distant fjords while travelers experience both sky phenomena and impressive northern scenery. The main attraction becomes a rare total solar eclipse which people can watch from East Greenland's Blosseville Coast.

The path leads through Inuit settlements and Norse historical sites and giant ice formations and frozen water with floating ice blocks. The journey takes travelers through Tasiilaq's vibrant streets before reaching Nuuk's cultural center and Eternity Fjord which showcases Greenland's stunning natural environment together with its ancient human settlements.

Day by day

Day 1: Reykjavík Departure
The Arctic journey starts in Reykjavík which functions as the initial destination for this trip. The capital city of Iceland has gained recognition through its artistic environment and Nordic food traditions and its impressive building designs. The city skyline stands dominated by Hallgrímskirkja Church which towers above the urban landscape while nearby streets contain artistic boutiques and galleries and cafés which display the city's creative identity. The ship sets out from its home port to start its journey through the North Atlantic during the expedition's beginning. The journey will unfold against volcanic terrain which stretches toward distant mountain ranges. Through Greenland's oceanic expanse the evening establishes itself as the bridge between lively urban existence and the untamed Arctic domain.
Day 2: Arctic Waters of the Denmark Strait
The ship sails westward through the Denmark Strait which functions as a water boundary between Iceland and Greenland. The strong ocean currents create this region which enables various species to thrive in the area. Seabirds float over ocean waves as whales and other sea creatures appear from time to time near our ship. Throughout the day, specialists discuss Arctic wildlife, climate, and the science behind solar eclipses. The upcoming presentation series will show travelers how to get ready for the upcoming exceptional celestial occurrence which will happen soon. The ship moves closer to Greenland while mountains covered in ice become visible at the edge of sight.
